High school 5 day University Faith Experience
We sent Michigan High school students to Notre Dame Vision-- a lively summer experience designed to help participants to discover and renew God's call in their lives. This summer experience was very crucial to the development of Katarina's faith!
Summer Mission trips
In 2023, we provided funding for a Notre Dame ECHO Youth Minister's Program and curriculum in Meadville PA. They started with 8 of the youth on a mission trip to a Catholic Heart Work Camp in Michigan. "Six of the 8 kids told us they did not want to be there. By the 4th day of the trip all the boys were rushing to the stage for praise and worship and we were able to dig deeper and deeper during our breakout sessions. One of our kids had not gone to confession in years and went and shared how much it changed him. This momentum has carried into this year and our programs are stronger than ever. We are hoping to take the kids back on mission trip and we have many families with financial difficulties that want to send their kids."
We have continued to fund this ministry in 2024 and 2025 and it has grown exponentially with surrounding parishes wishing to attend the weekly discussions of faith and summer programs.
High school and Middle school Curriculum and Books
Provided funding for the curriculum and books for confirmation and high school programs for Christ the King Parish in Ann Arbor, MI, and for the middle school Edge program for Our Lady Star of The Sea Catholic School (2024-25), Grosse Pointe, MI.
Corazon Puro
Training support for young Hispanic adults from St Anne's Church in Detroit to travel to New York to learn about Theology of the Body, Corazon Puro, in order to bring the program to Detroit youth.
Young Adult Ministry
Helped a young adult ministry program for sharing faith at the Waterloo Iowa Catholic Parishes by providing funding for them to attend a 5 day faith enrichment program at the SEEK FOCUS conference (Fellowship of Catholic University Students) along with almost 20,000 young people in attendance
Renewal Ministires
Provided funding for Ann Arbor high school youth discerning the priesthood and seeking to do missionary work with Renewal Ministries
Brave the Wilderness summer camps
Supported Holy Family Parish, Galveston, TX, fundraising efforts to allow 22 students to attend Brave the Wilderness Youth summer camp and retreat for middle school and high school students.
Life Teen
Annual Life Teen support in their efforts to develop on-going curriculum to assist Youth Ministers in teaching the faith
Young Life
Provided funding for Young Life summer camp Scholarships for Athletes
Fellowship of Christian Athletes
Supported annual fund raising efforts to provide scholarships for Michigan chapter of FCA athletes wishing to attend faith-based summer athletic camps
seminarian conference that teaches how to reach youth
Funded 16 (2024, St Louis) and 20 (2025, Salt Lake City) seminarians to attend 5 day SEEK FOCUS conference, seminarian pathway, to better train them to reach our youth and young adults
